9/13/2023 0 Comments Medieval times menu baltimoreWe initially were going to share this fun activity with other Equestrian families, but the experience made us feel as though Medieval Times is a commercialized money making factory, and the guests are just numbers. It took away from enjoying a great performance. Ben seemed stressed out and new, but we were disappointed about paying for services promised and not delivered. I have never been to a restaurant where I had to remind waitstaff four times that I'm gluten free, then not get served the alternative that I paid for. We kindly tipped Ben, but considered not doing so. When we inquired about the Torture Chamber Museum, we were told that was closed, but it's advertised on the website as if it's open. I was already upcharged for responsibly canceling and not spreading Covid (hotels offer a 3 day grace period), and we drove over an hour to see the performance and enjoy the meal. If they were really out of hummus, what in the world did vegetarians eat?. If the kitchen was really out of an dietary restriction alternative, what does medieval times do for paid customers to remedy that? If you advertise for dietary restrictions, that should be provided or perhaps wait staff should be trained or maybe have a visual symbol at each guest seat indicating whether they are gluten free, vegetarian, diabetic, etc. The front desk, but I just wanted to enjoy the show. Later when Ben finally began refreshing the empty lemonade glasses towards the end of the performance, he informed me that they were out of hummus. I finally gave up worrying, and focused on the show. When the next course came, I reminded Ben for the third time that I was gluten free and that he'd forgotten the hummus and veggies. I asked a sales person and she quickly dismissed me and said tell your waiter, before I could tell her I couldn't find him. When Ben tried to plop bread on my plate, I reminded him I'll need the gluten free option. I am gluten free and notified at the ticket booth, and notified our waiter (Ben) before the show. I wish I could have heard the story line, but it was a garble of old English and echoing acoustics. The horses are rare in the US, and are from Spain- absolutely gorgeous and well trained. Our equestrian family loved the horses and stuntsmen. My birthday was in May when we originally scheduled our reservation, but due to 2 out of 3 in our party getting Covid, we responsibly rescheduled early, with a fee. ![]() ![]() We enjoyed our 3pm performance on Saturday 6/17 at Medieval Times.
